I don't like to pile on players but since I didn't see examples of Wigley truly giving his best and putting hits on guys and playing smart, I have no problem with it. Need Abrams back so Wigley doesn't rotate in as much.

I think all 3 UW touchdown drives included a 4th down conversion. Defense was so close to having an incredible day. Washington made the winning plays, though.

Washington had to go for it on at least 3 4th downs to beat us today. While that's no consolation for losing, I can say this is one of the first times I haven't felt embarrassed by our play against Washington since joining the Pac.

Plus, all of this was without our best player and our best corner.

Overall, I'm happy with the defense for sure. We need better punting, and I'd like to see us actually attack the mid distance middle of the field more often on O.

Okay. Time to get positive. We came in here overmatched on the line on offense and without our best offensive weapon. And I think Winfree isn’t close to 100%. And no JMac. I think Chev just was trying to keep it close and he did. We had a chance.
