All this horse**** with strange formations and misdirection and everything else is ridiculous when you're 1st and goal from the 2. Over thinking all the time.

But the execution is also awful. Pre-snap penalties are a near certainty.

I agree his play calling leaves a ton to be desired in the red zone but hard to blame him on this one with 2 procedure penalties and a qb who missed a wide open receiver.

All the misdirection and unnecessary formations doesn't help these guys. Yeah we should execute, but we get a illegal formation penalty because of all the movement and bunching. Snap the ball and run up the middle. Keep it simple. He overthinks all the time.
