Has anyone actually had their kids in an "everyone gets a trophy league"
I don't have kids, but used to coach youth track, all the kids got ribbons that said their place, but that 8th place pink ribbon was no trophy, and the kids got medals for 1st-3rd for the state finals.
I feel like complaining about "everyone gets a trophy" is just something for old people who don't actually interact with the world to be upset about.

One yes everyone gets a ribbon. My kids were in several of those. Should be Top three for individual sports or winner takes all. End of discussion. No ribbons or anything else for anyone else.
