I'm very skeptical about a report from someone I've never heard of who I can't imagine anyone in the AD choosing as the place to plant a legitimate leak.
Yeah. I tried kicking the tires there because the idea of a cocky recruiter who draws a lot of national attention and gives zero ****s about the media liking him has a lot of appeal to me on the surface. And he has been a talented OC in his career, which seems to get lost on people because of the other stuff. But the record isn't there and there is a lot of chatter out there that he doesn't run a very good organization or locker room.Kiffin makes no sense.
Unsure who this is but....
I don't believe he was interviewing this week. You might talk to his agent, but not him.honest question: would the OC of tOSU interview a day or two before the UM game? lack of focus you kind of expect, or no big deal?
Kiffin as OC though would work for me. Not sure he would take that, but he recruits well, and has a lot of play calling experience.FAU was under .500 this year. in addition to all the other reasons to say No to Lane. i refuse to accept a world where going 5-6 in C USA qualifies you for the CU job.
Kiffin as OC in the Pac 12 might be his way back to a Pac 12 HC position.Kiffin as OC though would work for me. Not sure he would take that, but he recruits well, and has a lot of play calling experience.
Yeah, but he sucks so much air out of the room that he couldn't even deal well with taking a #2 role under Saban. That's the issue. Who could actually manage him as the HC he was working for? Even if it was a defensive HC who gave him total control of the offense, Lane would still be causing problems by trying to grab the spotlight by talking to the media.Kiffin as OC in the Pac 12 might be his way back to a Pac 12 HC position.
Why would he need to do that? Was not Alabama OC enough of a stepping stone?Kiffin as OC in the Pac 12 might be his way back to a Pac 12 HC position.

Double top secret protocol in effect...
Was there a niner in there?FlightAware.jammer = true

OPSEC = max
What prompted you to do that?Decided to take a look to see how old Gus Bradley is and where he's working. Former DC at North Dakota State when that dynasty was built who became Pete Carroll's DC in Seattle for the Super Bowl champs. Failed as a HC for the Jacksonville Jags and is now doing well as DC with the Chargers. Still only 52 years old.
Also coached at Fort Lewis College for a while, so he has spent some time in Colorado.
If RG is looking at an NFL guy, could this be a possible target?
He's the guy who hired Fisch to be the OC at Jacksonville and I've been curious about Fisch.What prompted you to do that?
They don’t call Kiffin a tool for nothing.Kiffin? Too bad Tulagi closed...Joey Freshwater could do some damage there.

You have another kind?Don't you besmerch the memory of Tulagi's. In that place even my weak game could close the deal.
