Last time I remember an offense performance this bad was a USC game at Folsom when Gary Barnett was coaching. During his after-game interview on radio he said “I apologize to the entire state of Colorado.” Zero chance HCKD does thatz
Pandemic was great for CU. KD being a stable adult got us through a weird season successfully, it opened up the transfer market with immediate eligibility to play, and got us through a contract year for certain coaches.Rick George was in a bad spot when Tucker left for Mich. State after national signing day. Not a ton of options for coaches at that point. Then you add a global pandemic on top of that. This offseason is key for the program's future.
I'm at this game and I dont want to be anymoreI don’t even want to watch anymore. I have no words for what I’m watching
We were in pretty severe decline at the end of Barnett’s tenureAny questions about whether we have a horrible staff are answered. It is now how long we let this continue before they are canned. This is as good as it gets because talent is declining. We are going to depths we went to after Barnet was let go.
Glad we ran noyer off.
Blaming the receivers is an interesting take.Finally. Haven’t been all game, but whatever. I’m fine with Carter, but it doesn’t matter unless our receivers start trying.
Sorry but this is a poor excuse. Kansas got rid of Les Miles in April and still managed a better hire than ****ty KD.
One - it's not going to happen, so it doesn't matter. We fire KD in year two after being Pac12 coach of the year, our AD would have zero credibility talking to any coaching candidate in the country. Who would take the job? Seriously? RG would be talking to high school coaches
I don’t know. You tell me. You’re the one who brought up the past and how RG was in a tough spot.We can talk all we want about what happened in the past - the question is, what does CU do going forward? CU could have hired a lot of people - they didn't. CU could have fired Chev in the offseason - they didn't. Nobody is going to get fired after the 3rd game of the season.
The question is - where do they go from here? The upcoming offseason is going to be critical for the future. Either they make moves to try and turn this thing around, or they spend a whole lot of money for a whole lot of losses.
We need to can KD and blow it up. Offensive head coach with a horrible offense. No recruiting momentum to lean on. Rip off the bandaid and try again.
Chiv. DefinitelyHonestly not sure which coach is the bigger problem, Chev or Rod.
They both clearly need to be gone this offseason, but you can probably only fire one of them tonight.
Only trailing by 13?Our punter is looking pretty good!
Trying to say something positive about this **** show.
Find the posts where he said that.Hey - self proclaimed experts like Duff Man were concerned we would not run him off. Nice call.
Lewis might get a better vision if he wasn’t being snow-blinded by all the white shirts coming down on him. If the line would just pop the defenders twice and drop. Might slow them down better. Rod is not a D-1 P5 line coach.Blaming the receivers is an interesting take.
Noyer is really running third string at Oregon State now, FWIW.Hey - self proclaimed experts like Duff Man were concerned we would not run him off. Nice call.
Why is it that other schools can fire coaches after two games, but CU can't after 3?Nobody is going to get fired after the 3rd game of the season.
You mean the guy riding the pine in Corvalis?Glad we ran noyer off.
Money money moneyWhy is it that other schools can fire coaches after two games, but CU can't after 3?
No, and double no.One thing about Dorrell having been a head coach before, I’m convinced he will make off-season changes on the offensive staff. There will be no reluctance.
One - it's not going to happen, so it doesn't matter.
Two - College coaches know that was the softest PAC 12 coach of the year in the softest college football season ever. Along with the fact that our schedule that we did play was Charmin soft.
There would be just as much interest as any other year. Big money. Power 5.
Yep, Navy's AD is drowning in it.Money money money
