After watching the game now, it will be close till about halftime. csu loaded the box and had a youngn out on the island. Dare them to do that to us.

There is no way the secondary that was on display that was constantly beat by below average Beaver WR's can hold this CU WR crew and this team to less than 42 points!!! There was never that much pressure on the OSU QB, and the CSU DB's are the weakest link to the entire defense that was still a pretty average G5 defense. I agree that the other facets of the game have possibly gotten closer, but the #1 strength of the Buffs is going against the weakness of the Rams, so god help them. Also, our Special Teams are going to be better (KD Nixon is going to do something special!) and we will not be missing FG's anymore, since we are actually coaching them.
The Rams have improved a little bit, and thus the 28 point loss should make them happier than last year, as they are likely to get beat by much more at Alabama.
Cannot wait for Friday Night!!!

If CSU scores 30 points, we are going to be bad this year. Does CSU have decent talent on O? Sure, but they're still light years behind many of our conference opponents.
I don't agree. I think we have talent on defense but sine they haven't played together much it will improve a lot as the year goes along. I don't expect them to be a finished product in week 1.
I am thinking this one comes in around 45-24 with the Buffs winning. I think that we will take the foot off of the accelerator in the second half being that MM does not run it up on teams.

One thing that will make this game vastly different than the OSU game, is MM and co actually know how to utilize their backs properly. I expect CU to run for 250+.
Seriously, what is Andersen doing changing up their approach to the running game? Have good, talented, BIG backs, but they're now running slow developing runs out of the shotgun exclusively.
