LIVE! Official CU vs Houston game thread - 9/12/25

Staub makes the right decisions but then is just off enough on the pass that the receivers have to adjust to catch it either dropping it or letting the defense get to them and kill the play.

Opposing Defensive Coorsinators preparation for Shurmur's offense.
1st down, CU will run between the C/G for minus two yards to 2 yard gain.
2 down, Bubble screen or another run between the C/G (either way, stack the middle ans sides, no need to defend downfield.
3rd down, bubble screen for a loss or pass sideways to the RB for no gain.
4th down punt.

That's 90% of the game, Shurmur won't change style or implement any motion.

Translation - even 💩 will beat CU with Shurmur and Hart on staff. It's that straight forward

Looked like Staub didn’t trust the play call and specifically the blocking, and short armed it worrying about penetration

Looks like the Cody offense.
