Arch has more arm talent and doesn't stare guys down as much as Salter does.

Salters mediocre talent (how many full time sidearm passers are successful at this level?) and poor decision making are just exposed at this level.
I'm kind of on the fence if this feels more like Rex Grossman or Jay Cutler.I am also a Bears fan
Sexy Rexy was at least kind of entertaining, and the bad decisions were so comical it was easier to laugh.
I think it's more like sulking, incompetent Jay Cutler.

hardest postion in sports. in college, you can mitigate it by surrounding the qb with superior talent. but then you have to run an offense that protects the qb and maximizes your talent edge.
schumer is a pro guy. these are not pro players. it is not just about the play call and who executes. you have to play smart college football. you have to mitigate risk. you have to play smart. this is not the NFL where the base talent is all ****ing great and so you coach to the outliers. at this level, you have to have a program philosophy that you are working to. that way, when you plug in a guy with a lot less talent than the starter or you have a single starter make a mistake, the overall plan still works.
