Official CU vs TCU Pregame Thread

Update here. We touched the sun yesterday and I locked Colorado +14.5 yesterday for 90% of my bet amount of TCU -6.5. In some spots, I bought the half point, which is why I am only at 90% and not 100%.
Just trying to understand your strategy here. Why was +14.5 the golden number for you? Is it something to do with CU being unlikely to lose by more than two touchdowns or some relationship with your original -6.5 bet? Or something else?

Wouldn’t be the first time I’m wrong, but if he’s down 10% after the game. That’s still a financial loss in my book.

the way this thread has turned, i feel like i am watching a school of goldfish swimming around all happy and someone drops a shark into the tank and then some chum.

Two parts:

1) I have a substantial bet on TCU -6.5. I am able to minimize my overall liability by betting the other side now that there’s substantial line movement.

2) 14.5 is a great number because now Colorado can lose by 14 and I win both bets. It is a natural score number for American Football. If the number were 14, if Colorado loses by exactly 14, I only get my money back.

I haven't read all the threads, but didn't see this on Mark Perry. I hate guys playing against their old teammates.

The thing about lettermen is interesting.

If you can't view an article (like with the DP), you can often cut and paste the title into your browser and find MSN has the same article.

“When you look at it, most of the guys that ended up leaving, a lot of us had been through (transitions) — while we were at CU, most of us had played for three different head coaches,” said Perry, who’s starting at strong safety against the Buffs on Friday night at Folsom Field, a place he’d called home for the previous four summers.

So... you were frustrated by transition and instability... and so you transferred... for your final year... away from a program with a returning HC... to a brand new program with a brand new HC?

I mean, I don't blame him at all for leaving, and I'm happy for him that he's getting what he wanted. I think he's being dishonest with himself if this is his justification, though.

The overs in that game and Okie Lite game were free.
Okie Light. I agree.

Pitt ran 27 times in first half, consistent with Narduzzi canning Whipple and bringing back his OC. I was on pace for game script, I thought. Then Slovis started throwing and WVU started running. Good adjustments.

Pitt under was one of my themes heading into this year given above changes, plus Pickett snd Addison gone. If they turn Slovis loose, I will have to rethink.

Why did you like over, especially Pitt dynamics?

I thought they’d get behind and have to pass the ball to catch up. It ended up being a closer game wherein WVU got a late lead, so it worked out that way on the total.

I could be wrong here but I normally see rivalry games turn into wild scoring affairs. The early bettors brought the total down to my liking.

BLew. Hagan all but confirmed KD’s slip.

if it’s JT, it’s 4th level ninja move by CU.

I don't know why it became a tradition for me but every year since 2016 I get hyped for the first game by rewatching this teaser. Such a good video production. I know it's not applicable to any of the current players but still a great video to watch. Makes me forget we suck for 3 minutes.

Welp, my girlfriend’s daughter (we all live together) came home from school feeling sick and we tested her. She’s got COVID 😞 good thing we tested before we left her with the babysitter to go to the game. Feel really bad for her she’s struggling
