For whatever reason, there’s no commitment to even attempting to run the ball. When our offense clicks, there’s legitimate play action. That was a feature of our run to start the season.

Hard to tell when you can’t block anything at all.
Averaged over 4 yards a carry as a team and Alton looks good. Yet we refuse to use him and refuse to run. This is malpractice.

Sorry but your takes are idiotic. When your offensive linemen are getting blown by on virtually every play there isn't a scheme that makes them more talented.
Maybe if you know so much you should show up at the champions center and offer your services, I'm sure they would love to hear your input.
I really hope the portal has some OL beasts that want to join this ship. Otherwise we'll be in the same predicament next year with stud skills guys and OL and DL borderline burger flippers. Man, props to Shedeur for staying upright but damn this OL is hard to watch.

A take that you don't have to go 4-5 wide every snap is idiotic? The take that you shouldn't run your smallest RB up the middle & constantly ask him to pass block when he's shown he isn't even bad (ie. he's been terrible) is idiotic? The take that when the DL is standing up that you should try and run the ball is idiotic? The take that an OL that can't even consistently block a ****ing guy (how many times did they punch air tonight?) is a coaching issue is idiotic (McCheese video shows this is a coaching issue)?
The gate keeping is BS, there's a ton of valid valid criticism's for this coaching staff and the complete lack of adapting is a massive one. Dorrell is not the baseline, I don't give a damn what it could be with Dorrell still here, he is gone for a reason and I'm not going to sit here and blindly defend moronic decisions that constantly happen.
We gotta quit doing this. Most of our good runs was when UCLA was like, it's late in the half or the game, we just going through the motions. When we needed runs, our OL got dominated

to be a cfb playoff team consistently you have to be really good upfront. what lannng is building at oregon is an example of how to break into the club.
i feel certain we will bring in enough guys next year to be really ****ing good. it will take more than that to put shadeur in a position to win the heisman and for us to be a legit playoff team.
this is year 1.
i think we are going to be a lot better than the narrative next year (just like we have been this year) but it will take some amazing recruiting to get good enough upfront to be in the mix next year.

Huh? When we needed runs, we didn't even attempt them.
Look, every team has runs stopped at LOS or even behind it. You got to have some designed run play to make team at least respect your intention. Not having any run after CP said over and over and over that we need to run the ball, is a big FU to CP, all the players and all the fans.
We didn’t even try to establish a run game. Not at all.
UCLA could basically lineup ready to tee off on Sanders because they knew we were not going to run it. We never do.
So I guess you just know much more than Coach Prime ever has. They weren't being successful running the ball either, they have watched the film, they have a pretty good idea of what works or doesn't work against UCLA, and you want them to install a whole new offense just for UCLA.
This isn't a finished product, not even close. If we are still seeing the same problems in a couple years then you have reason to complain. For right now you are just venting anger and making no sense.
We did and got nowhere. In the 2nd half we didn't till UCLA took off the heat.
They did once, and that was like the stupidest run design.

I'm not convinced that Lewis needs to go. I am convinced that Oboyle needs to go and he can take Reilly with him.
football is full of flash. to get to the top you need elite trench guys. all the rest of this is just noise. if alton had a burst he would be starting not coming in late. edwards is small but he is a frosh and will bet better. hankerson is smaller too but you see he's able to be physical enough inside because he's a more mature body.
i'd rather take one of our prior o line coaches (except perhaps the sled blocking cajun dude) than mccheese. everyone has an opinion. that doesn't mean we should start firing everyone.

Portal, Junior Colleges, also need to upgrade the quality and quantity of HS recruits on the OL.
