I love him as a position coach hire. I hate that it took this long to get a position coach. But I'm betting he comes in as a Co-DC.
If Eliot is LB/Co-DC that means we are likely targeting a DC with a DB background?I love him as a position coach hire. I hate that it took this long to get a position coach. But I'm betting he comes in as a Co-DC.
Good thing there's been 10 minutes of meltdown and below average grading before all the facts are out there.
I'm waiting for all the facts to come out. Remember when people were freaking out because Tumpkin was thought to be our DC hire? This has shades of that and the tea leaves suggest he might just be hired as LBs/Co-DC. Let's see what happens next. That's why we have calm, rational posters as yourself to be the ying to our yang...what's your view on this? You think he's a DC or position coach?

CoachingSearch says it's for the DC job so I don't know what to believe.

Maybe he is the DC and we bring in a Co-DC similar to Lindgren & Chev?
Can we really judge this guy without at least hearing his mixtape first?

I think it's a really good hire if he's a LB coach (A-/B+). As co-DC, I'm not sure, I guess it depends who is the other "co".If he is hired as LBs/Co-DC, what is your take?
Isn't the lead recruiter for any of their commits in the last year. But he 'likes to recruit'?
I am trying NOT to envision that scenario.as far as we know it could be him and Tumpkin with the Co Coordinator titles. I would be ok with that
Well considering the likelihood of Tumpkin no longer being employed by CU, this scenario is not very probable.as far as we know it could be him and Tumpkin with the Co Coordinator titles. I would be ok with that
Macs defense. He put it together.I for one am just glad their is movement. He does fit the bill of a younger guy that Mac can continue to groom (hopefully he's picked up a thing or 2 from Stoops before hand) and it seems he can recruit a little. I think the key will be if he is CO or just DC, but I'm good either way to be honest, cuz we know Mac is the one who has put the D together the way he wants to play. Now lets get a kick@$$ DB's coach and someone to replace oh Tumpklin tough nutz
