Official "Game" Day Thread: Colorado vs Oregon 2012

We sure field one horrible team. One of the most impotent I think I've seen.
 
We've seen some bad teams over the last few years here at Colorado - but not only is this possibly the worst CU football team of all time, this is arguably one of the worst D1 football teams in the last 50 years

Nothing. He is going to yell, because yelling louder equals better coaching. I am sure it will be some "play like the scoreboard says 0-0 and let's go win the second half" or some other meaningless muttering. Really, Embo should resign.
 
Why do some of you get so angry every week? We don't have the players and we don't have the support to compete. We should all be aware of this already.
 
Oregon's BCS ranking may actually be worse next week, because their strength of schedule took a major hit this week.

There's a big difference between the "haves" and the "have nots."

I'm not sure its 56-0 at halftime difference, though.
I'm pretty sure it's not 400+ yards at halftime for the other team, though.

Arkansas State managed 10 points in the 1st half against Oregon (and 34 in the game). Think CU will get 1/2 those points? I guess Arkansas State has better players and better support to compete against Oregon.

Buffs are playing with very little effort especially on defense. Sorry that's total bull**** and reflects on the coaches

I actually believe that Arkansas State does. My impression is that DiStephano and Benson think we should have Stanford entrance requirements for football players..... But he doesn't realize we are not Stanford.
 
I will never forget the beat down that UT put on us in the B12 championship game that led to GB's firing.....

Well, the complete embarrassment of today will not influence anything in Boulder. It is ok...we are young, it is not Jon's fault, we are competing, it is a bigger problem with our administration.....CU football is dead.

Given the fact that the window for admissions has been widened since Embree became coach, comments like this are dubious.

So the players are playing with very little effort, yet you think they are good players? Explain that to me.

For 1 year.

Embree did something unprecedented, and I don't know if he needed to, but he basically fired almost every junior and senior when he got here..... Therefore, we had to rebuild with all freshmen who were 3 stars.....
 
Just did something I've never done before: wrote a letter to the President and to the Chancellor.




Never fear gang, I am sure everything will change now. Sorry I didn't do it sooner.:lol:
