Official Game Thread: COLORADO @ Nebraska --- 9/8 @ 1:30

Callier is getting castrated by the NU fans on social media. Am I the only one who sees him playing till the whistle? Literally the moment the whistle blows Jacob jumps to his feet.
Callier is a nice deflection for a bunch of whiny ass Cornshucker jack off fans.

Callier made exactly the same tackle as generations of fusker defensive players have made hundreds if not thousands of times. He dragged a runner down by pulling an ankle into his chest as he went to the ground.

If he had any intent to injure he could have rolled his body either on the way down or on the ground, he could have forced the leg to an unnatural angle, he could have held the leg as he got up. He didn't do any of that, he made a tackle.

The only difference in making the tackle is that it was on the one guy who is the fuskers fan's hope for this season and the future, a guy who was already hobbling around with knee pain, and the guy didn't get up.

If somebody wanted to take the time they could go back into the film archives and find plenty of examples of Nebraska players making that exact same tackle on Hagan, Bienemy, Salaam, Flannigan, etc., etc., etc.

It is the Nebraska mentality. They believe they are the greatest and despite their record still believe they are the greatest. When they win it is because of character and virtue but when they lose it must be because somebody cheated them, because things weren't fair.

If they are good at one thing it is convincing themselves of things that don't match the facts. They have convinced themselves that Nebraska is a wonderful state full of the best kind of people living a life others dream of. They have also convinced themselves that their football team is still one of the elite, one that everyone looks up to.

They are able to ignore those stinking piles of manure spread across the state next to the feedlots and they are able to ignore that stinking pile of manure that their football program has become and being built on guys like Incognito, Suh, Phillips, Peters, etc. has truly always been.

New t shirt that is out?

I said **** it and bought this tshirt. It will make for a great conversation piece years from now. And will definitely be worn on Sept 7th, 2019, Sept 9th, 2023, and Sept 7th, 2024. That alone makes it worth it.

Whered you get that? I want one lol

Replay is on ESPNU right now - the two fumbles in the first quarter were forced by Buff defenders: Landman put his head on the ball while tackling Bell, Taylor stripped Martinez. Just another piece of Scott Frost bull****.

I had people from out of state texting me during the game telling me great to see the Buffs playing and being a great game.
Same here! I heard from many that hate NU and even got this from a friend who is a big husker fan after I gave him some time to himself:

Yes, The Vermin won the game and that was quite frustrating. However, two things have given me consolation:
  1. Colorado has some Dudes. They made some great individual plays that allowed them to emerge victorious.
  2. Nebraska actually played hard and was well-coached for a full 60 minutes. That hasn't happened for years!

Looking forward to a rematch in 2019.

I had (I guess you could call him a buddy of mine) guy who used to be a junior officer and then department head for me that's always been a huge NU fan text me during the game...about 2 min left in the 2nd. I hadn't heard from him in 3 years.
