Official Game Thread: MBB vs Wichita State in the Puerto Rico Tipoff

Super impressed with Brown & Chen tonight, not to mention the defense. Disappointed in Roberson, Nate & SHT. Need more from both of them.

That said, we play like we did tonight and we'll make Maryland our bitch tomorrow. Very pleased with the game.
 
My thoughts:

1. Overall pretty good effort
2. Like Booker's athleticism
3. Brown is a pretty decent scorer
4. Rebounding needs to improve on both ends, I thought the difference tonight was WSU's 2nd chance points, they killed us there
5. Tomlinson please graduate already, and lose the rediculous porn 'stache
 
Buffs should have little problem with Maryland tomorrow. This game was closer than the final score indicated. It was impossible to keep the Buffs down. They never quit and repeatedly got right back into the game.

I'm a big Buffs fan for the rest of the season - especially tomorrow. Turgeon getting beat by his former assistant would be Sa-Weet.

As for the cut-and-paste opportunity some rabid CU fan gave me earlier, I'm going to pass on that. There's no poin piling on a fanbase when they've just lost a game.
 
About what I expected, although I thought there would be more points. 9 doesn't indicate how close the game was for the most part. Obviously going 3-0 was the ultimate goal, but winning tonight would have made it tougher to go 2-1 than it does now. The Buffs should beat Maryland tomorrow, no question about it. Looking forward to that game, let's beat the Terps tomorrow! Getting out of Puerto Rico 2-1 would put us in very solid shape as the Pac-12 continues to struggle mightily.

He was just messing with you. Good luck against Bama tomorrow, I think you guys probably lose, but it should be a good one.
