CU's selection came so fast (that's what she said :huh:) ... I missed whether we're playing Thursday or Friday, and where?
 
Bad Luck Weber State: Wins regular season, wins conference tournament, gets a 16 seed and draws Arizona.

Kentucky only got an 8 seed? Rough. Tough draw for Wichita State, too.
 
Louisville is only a 4? RPI. Play a tough non-con if you want a seed. Committee is sending a message.
 
So if we are the 8 in the bracket with the overall 1 seed, does that mean we are the top 8 seed?

Nope. It means we're the #32 seed and Pitt is the #33 with the way it scrolls.

Top 1, worst 2, top 3, worst 4, etc., etc.

Except the committee has already said they don't differentiate between all 8-9 seeds and just throw them into a pool together and consider placement over seeding. At least this is what they've done in recent years.
 
I think the all meetings of the committee should be videotaped and released for public scrutiny. That might eliminate some of the nut job choices that inevitably come out.
