CU defense is absolute garbage, but Oregon can’t seem to step on anyone’s throat yet this year.

38-28 Ducks

Oregon 49
CU 17

The -22 spread is easy money. Buffs are going to reward me some way this year. This is it.

Don't matter against this defense.
We're decent enough against the run and Oregon's offense is way way way way too conservative given who their QB is. We'll still lose but it wont be by 30 points like everyone on here is suggesting

Everyone knows Oregon isn't the offensive juggernaut they once were right?
Yes, and yet they have a ton of talent on the #1 efficient D in CFB with tons of rangy fast kids that play physical ball. This will be a real challenge for Kap’s unit.

FS1 Announcers fall asleep in 2nd quarter, shocking the FCC.

Let me know when CBB starts.

If we're healthy, I see it being closer than the pundits think.
If we aren't, it won't be pretty. I hate oregon.

The score will probably be closer than we think. If you watch the game though it will be a pretty dominant Oregon performance.

The more I learn about oregon, the more I wish we weren't beat the hell up. There are cracks in that armor. That defense is damn good, but they haven't played a good QB yet.

Bo Nix, Carson Strong, Dalton Sneed, KJ Costello (post concussion, since benched), and Devon Modster. None of those guys are in the top 50 most feared QBs in FBS ball.

Can a good Montez-led offense keep up with what Oregon is likely to do to our defense? The only saving grace is their passing game isn’t their strong point on offense.

Good Montez full game = CU has a puncher’s chance to win and will definitely cover.
Bad Montez showing at all = CU may lose and not cover. Zero margins.

Oregon's offense mystifies me. Their OL is amazing and they have a possible #1 overall pick at QB. Yet their offense just doesn't do much.

I think the CU defensive backfield will be just the medicine they need to get things going.

Their OL is experienced but hasn't been dominant. They are middle of the road rushing the ball but emphasize it over a passing game led by a first round qb. The best thing we do on defense is stop the run. Their coaches are our best hope for keeping it close.

Most of you are smoking crack. Oregon will be incredibly lucky to score 30+. That offense is no better than 10th in the conference.

I talked to my cousin who is a die hard Duck fan and who we will be staying with for the game about Oregon’s sudden struggling offense.
He said that either Oregon doesn’t have the weapons for Herbert or Herbert is nursing an injury they are not telling us. Even Duck fans are surprised by the lack of offense especially with such a good QB. He also said they are not real impressed with the play calling thus far.
I still expect Herbert to look like a #1 draft pick against our secondary though.
