VPD arrests third person in shooting investigation
VALDOSTA - A third male suspect has been arrested by the Valdosta Police Department in connection with a shooting investigation.

This pretty clearly states it was two related incidents. I hope it was self-defense, but the fact that charges are still pending 10 months later, with White under house arrest, isn't exactly encouraging.
