No comparison between Fontenot and Bish in terms of being an actual dynamic back. Bish is still tip toeing instead of pounding it. Fontenot looks like he can get yards in chunks.

This scrimmage is too soft and not intense enough to help anyone!!! Seems like the lower half of the depth chart would play hard if it was just a real game.
Doing that to one or our top DB's is very encouraging.

Lytle is looking decent out there. Arguably sharper than Montez IMO.
However Lytle can't do that. Great read/fake/run by Montez.
I hope we are showing a lot roll outs because we are actually not going to use those plays for real!!! Dislike cutting the field in half, and usually does not create that much of an advantage, instead of more simple and creative plays.
He responded well last year.
I think if Lytle were to get any significant number of 1st team reps, Montez's hold on the starter job would get very iffy.
Montez is more athletic and with the OL we have this year, that may be more useful, but I think Lytle is the better passer.
Iron sharpens Iron right! Montez is still better in a couple of aspects, but I think that the battle between Lytle and Noyer is the thing to watch going into Colorado State game.

Shenault is the McKinley Wright of the football team. He just has "it." He's physically mature like Wright and knows how to make a play when the team really needs one. He's built like a tight end and moves like a wide receiver. It's amazing how he can maneuver his body to get into position to make a catch. Can't imagine he'll be around more than one or two seasons before he's off to the NFL.
Saw Ty Evans, his brother, and dad buying more CU gear after the scrimmage. 
No visible injuries from the scrimmage, that’s always good. It felt more vanilla than the last scrimmage I saw, and was a tad boring at times, but I still had fun. Shenault, Tony Brown, LANDMAN, Lang, Miller, and Udoffia all stood out to me.

Just based on what little I saw today, Lytle looks like he should have a pretty clear edge over Noyer in the backup competition.

It's a shame the P12 cut the feed but I'm sure MM doesn't mind.
Zipping through the drills..lots of number changes.
Right out of the chute Montez has developed a touch putting more air under the ball, something he struggled with last season but can be partially attributed to not knowing when the line was give him enough time one snap to the next.
When he signed I commented that the jewel of the class was Shenault, after watching the 6A state champ game here in TX it was obvious. Seeing him today allowed me to feel better because I'd been holding my breath, I thought there was a 50/50 chance that he might transfer after last season. Chiv is not going to let his talent go to waste, 500 yds & 6-9 Tds Shenault goes pro.
Fontenot will get his yards next year either as the starter or the backup, the other RB prospects have been recruited over.
No comment on the OL & DL can't guage anything after today...so I wait until the CSU game.
