I think a little bit of it is that he's getting called for fouls because he's trying not to foul. Refs favor the aggressive player. Dustin hasn't become an aggressive defensive player yet.

He may also now be fighting a reputation. Basketball in general but maybe the PAC worse than some other conferences, refs tend to call a lot of stuff on reputation. Earlier on he was doing a lot of fouling instead of moving his feet, now he is moving and in better position but they are still calling him based on what he did before.

I seriously doubt that the refs can remember individual players from teams and make calls against them. Especially a bench player.

FWIW Hopkins dunk didn't make the top 10 (given it was the top 10 of the whole weekend), but during the intro they showed like 12 clips one was hopkins dunk another was Ski pumping up the crowd which was pretty cool.

Did they even show the UW/CU highlights on SC?, I don't think so and it was the one and a half hour show Sunday show. Of course, you had the whole Smart/Sam things to cover. This is the kind of thing where it helps to be a top 25 team.
