Montez hasn't even been close on the two deep throws. Let's try some quick passes to get into a rhythm before we start shooting for the endzone.
I thought so as well. Looked like he caught it, took a couple steps, then fumbled. This is a game where you have to take any little advantage you get.
On that note, Wazzu is crazy if they don't try to run the ball here on out.
He throws a deep curl instead of hitting the flat when there wasn't anyone within 20 yards of him. He's not seeing the field at all.
I guess throwing the deep ball keeps the DBs from creeping up, but I doubt very many will be completed tonight.
