It's a good read. Competition in other sports, such as cross country, will be nice.

It's nice to see an outside analysis that doesn't automatically call the football team Big XII bottom feeders (even though we've been flirting with that the last few seasons). Noting our all-time record and success in other sports was a nice touch. Hope we can produce on the field/court/track/etc. enough to change people's minds of our perceived reputation. It's a good read. Competition in other sports, such as cross country, will be nice.

The comments are, for the most part, how the Gen-X ers of the Pac 10 think. Yeah, they have tradition, but it is 10 or 20 years ago. What have you done lately? The only way to change this is to win on the field - regularly. As much as it stings to read crap like that, I can't say I blame them for feeling that way.The comments are laughable.
"The Big-12's most fierce sport is men's basketball," Plati said.
Beg pardon?
CU/UO isn't going to be much of a rivalry. We won't play them every year. Until we get our collective sh*t together, we won't be anybody's rival. We have a long ways to go.
It won't be a big rivalry when you go to your knees every time the Ducks are mentioned.:smile2:
I don't, I just wish CU had the success the ducks have had over the past 10 years. Now with all this stuff coming out on them, who knows, I wouldn't want that, so maybe you were right all along valdez!
