This. This was a good defensive game but I wasn't terribly impressed with either QB

Not even sure it should have been reviewed.

Feels like the MWC went out of their way to try to avoid the embarrassment of one of their teams losing to an FCS school.

Scoring play automatically reviewed.

Receiver lept for the ball right about the goalline. Both hands on the ball fell into the endzone on his back. Looked to be contact before the catch which continued as he fell.

Fell on his back and the ball looked to wobble a bit while on his stomach, had both hands and arms around the ball as he rolled over eventually rolling to his feet and rising with the ball securely cradled in his hand with the hand and arm under the ball.

The only way they could call incomplete was if the said that as he was rolling over the ball was loose and touched the ground but multiple angle didn't show anything that would indicate the ball touched the ground.

As Duff said had the official called it incomplete to start with that call would have likely stood but there was nothing to show the ball touching the ground while loose. Should have been a catch and TD.

You're probably right, but my bigger point with that line is Gundy is done. If we're honest, they probably should have canned him after last year.

Their last 2 games against FBS opponents were each the worst loss in Gundy's history as their HC. Buffs and Ducks throwing dirt on that grave.
