Other Games 10/2 - 10/4

I fundamentally believe that in most situations, if your helmet comes off in contact, you aren't cinching your chin strap tight enough. Am I wrong in having that opinion?

Bold prediction: Clemson wins out to 9-3 and sneaks into the playoffs as the team no one wants to play.
Disagree-that league is probably getting 2 teams.....but Clemson won't be one of them.

Miami and Georgia Tech both look like playoff teams to me......Miami I'd vote #1 after tonight.

Miami I tend to agree on, they're better than I thought. As for who that 2nd team is to get into the ACCCG keep an eye on UVA, their schedule the rest of the way is right up there with Indiana's B1G schedule last year minus the tOSU game. Another team with a light schedule who could sneak in there is Cal. I expect GT to drop 1 or 2 along the way

I think the ACC is better than the B1G this year.

I think he has to get into the playoffs, and win 2 games to keep his job.
That isn't happening. They still have a trip to Iowa. I don't think you can rule out a loss there. They also have games at Ohio State and Indiana at home. Even if they survive all that......you can't lose to people like UCLA. Franklin is gone, but he'll get power conference interest (Oklahoma State?)

Texas is looking at another loss next week-they look like an absolute mess, and Oklahoma looks a lot better to at least me. I'm sure Oklahoma takes an L, but its not next week. Sooners by double digits.

Another thought-Miami should be #1 in the country after today. Hard to not watch them compared to Ohio State and think that way.

Franklin’s buyout is $50+M. That’s quite the punishment for losing 1 game

Small schools this past weekend the two at the top won again fairly easily

Western Colorado 49 Fort Lewis 10
CSU Pueblo 59 New Mexico Highlands 13

Colorado Mesa picked up a win over Colorado Mines 28-24

Poor, pathetic Adams State avoided the shutout losing to Chadron State 45-2
