Other games 10/31 - 11/2

Oregon is seven coming into this week, Utah is nine. With (6) Florida losing today both should move ahead if Oregon wins tonight.

Win out they face each other in the CCG.

There will be at most 3 undefeated conference champions. At that point the PAC has a strong argument to get in.

A couple of upsets on the way and it could be no question.

If Minnesota beats Penn State and the Pac 12 teams don't lay an egg somewhere, I think they're in.

They're in where? Their path to the Rose Bowl is theirs if they win out. Minnesota beating PSU has nothing to do with it, which I know you know, so are you referring to the playoff?

Yes, it actually does. Let's say Ohio State wins that football game given its in Columbus. Penn State (assuming they beat Minnesota) is still an option for the committee-They'd have three wins over teams in the top 20 right now. They'd have a resume that's equal to or better than Oregon, Baylor, Utah, Oklahoma, and Alabama if they lose to LSU.

They're not getting in ahead of any other 1-loss conference champ and their chances of getting in over a 1-loss non-champ are highly unlikely. Utah's nonconference schedule consisted of:
Brigham Young (3-4)
Northern Illinois (3-5)
Idaho State (3-5 in FCS)

Oregon intentionally losing this game to ensure Clay Helton remains at SC

You're wrong again-they're in over Oklahoma and Baylor. Hell, I'd put them in over Baylor even if Baylor wins out.

Here's Oklahoma's:
Houston (3-6)
UCLA (3-5)
South Dakota (3-6 in FCS)

And Baylor:
Stephen F. Austin (1-7 in FCS)
Rice (0-9.......hahahaha)
UTSA (3-5.....lol)

You really gonna try and argue those are better than what Utah did?

I am guessing Mike Bohn's cell number has 10,000 text messages. This is going to be so fun to watch!

But won't have won their division. A 12-1 conference champ has never been left out of the CFP.
