Other Games 10/7-10/9

Man, if I didn’t know God doesn’t like Aggies, I’d say He pushed that kick back through the uprights. Maybe He just hates ‘bama more.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but damn is it nice that there's now a pretty good chance we won't see Bama, tOSU or Clemson in the playoff.

Putting the cart before the horse with tOSU and Alabama. If they win out, they both go to the playoff again. Alabama isn't playing anyone else who might have a shot at them and the only team left on tOSU's schedule they could struggle with is PSU (I don't think Michigan or Michigan State are on that level RN).

Top 4 right now for me:
1. Georgia
2. Iowa
3. Oklahoma
4. Cincinnati

Georgia will be about ~16 over Kentucky. Georgia opponents are averaging 4.6 points per game.

My niece is a sophomore at Iowa. She went to a game between the #3 and #4 teams in the nation today, and their team will be ranked #2 tomorrow.

I'm happy for her, because I remember how amazing that was. But still sad because I don't know if it'll ever happen for us again.

Random other thought I just had that I think only @Jalapeno (since he's our resident group of 5 expert) will appreciate-SMU at Cincinnati could be a really big game on November 20th. Looks like the G5's spot in the NY6 might come down to the winner of that game......and maybe even more than that.

Too many freshman making plays today I thought that couldn’t happen because they are to young.
I guess calzada just needed more reps. Happy for that kid.

One of the gutsiest performances I've seen this year-taking off like he did on their final drive knowing full well he's on one good leg?

He'll be a god in Aggieland by tomorrow.

Could be the G5's best chance to get into the CFP. Pac-12 and ACC's spots are pretty shaky right now. OU might slip up and lose the Big 12's slot. I think the SEC and B1G could be the only ones that can feel like they will get into the CFP at this point but still plenty of football left.

I'm more of the FCS expert than G5 expert though.

Iowa drops one. Watch.

They're capable of it (see the CSU game as case in point) but their schedule down the stretch is sooooooooo easy. Wisconsin's got the best chance at them IMO. Nebraska will take them to the wire and find another inexplicable way to lose.

Lord help me, but I honestly think they get tripped by Nebraska at the very end. Shoot me now.
