Other games 10/9 - 10/12

Make it two hand touch. Let these qb's get their inflated numbers. Nevermind, that's already happening.

UW/Arizona game already has a blocked punt, fumble on a punt, and now a kickoff out of bounds. Pac 12 After Dark!

All last week I stared in disbelief as the refs ignored Arizona's blatant holding. I'm glad to see they're catching it tonight.

I think Oregon wins a close one next week, but Washington is so hard to figure out week to week.

Give me plausible reasons to think the Buffs beat any of these three to become bowl eligible.

USC - gave the domers all they wanted on the road; athletes up and down the roster
Washington - eventually destroyed AZ on the road, athletes up and down the roster
Utah - that defense is better than OR

That means victories over WSU, Stanford, and UCLA are must wins.

The only win I see remaining is ucla and that is not even a gimme. Playing in LA and they still have Dudes on their roster. + our D.
wsu can move the ball and score vs our D. Yea their D might be "garbage" but CU tends to change those trends and until we prove otherwise? that's how I see it.
usc we will lose. They have talent all over that roster and always play their best games against us. once again, until we can prove different.
utes D is way to good. Their O is just good enough, but once again our D will let them score at will.
furd is Jekyll hyde, we will somehow **** that up too.

No bowl this year.

I don't look at USC as a no-hoper for several reasons. One, I don't think a moral victory against Notre Dame this year is as impressive as it would have been last year-Notre Dame is probably going to finish at worst 9-3 (I think they're going to lose to Michigan, and I think Stanford could beat them Thanksgiving weekend), but I think the Irish are greatly helped by the fact that they get to play five ACC teams a year. That conference is terrible. Two, the game's on a Friday, and its here. They have a very short prep week, and I still think we're looking at a pretty loud crowd. If you made me pick it now, I'd pick them-but they don't scare me anywhere near as badly as Utah and Washington do.

First year in a while I’m really excited for the first two playoff games. I don’t see much separation between bama, LSU, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Clemson and Oklahoma.

Wisconsin and OSU looks like the Big 10 championship game. PSU plays OSU in Columbus, Michigan's not good enough to beat OSU, and Wisconsin's toughest game outside of the Ohio State roady in 2 weeks (dear lord I can't wait to see what they do to Fusker) is Iowa, and that's at home.

Seems like Wisconsin might be in the same position as OU last year. Lose a close game at OSU but they will have the chance to beat them at a natural site at the end of the season to take their spot back in the playoff. I think they will win in Indy.

USC is really inconsistent. I could definitely see the Buffs getting a flat effort from them. Not sure I see a win, but that team is has some really good football and some terrible football in them.

So far, I'd say Ohio State, LSU, Bama, Penn State, Clemson (they have looked like ass but have talent), and OU are the best teams I've seen so far. What do y'all think?

Those are all true intangibles. Matchups scare me, obviously their WRs against CU back end. OL will need to control game at altitude.

LSU and tOSU 1 and 1a.
Bama 3
OU 4

Clemson on outside looking in. They will start rolling. Style points at play.

PSU and Wisky with chance to make noise.

UGA not out of it if they win CCG.

First poll will tell a lot.

Just my $0.02.

Forgot to put Wisconsin in there.

I'd put Wisconsin over Alabama for right now-Wisconsin's blowout of Michigan is a hell of lot better than anything Alabama has. I'd also make LSU a clear #1 for now-no disrespect to Ohio State, but LSU's body of work is the best in the country to this point and its not close.

Utah defense is very good but call them better than Oregon is a little much

Utah is better than Oregon on the LOS but Oregon is much more talented at the skill positions and they are able to use their speed much more effectively.

Stinks that Oregon lost that game to Auburn to start the season. Had they won that it would have been hard to keep them out of the playoff because at this point they have a very good chance to run the table.

For us though Utah looks like a bad match. If their coaches don't get stupid and try to get fancy they should be able to simply run us over with their offense. On defense they should be able to abuse the middle of our OL and force mistakes.

Disagree with you-Oregon's going to lose again. Probably Saturday in Seattle or at Arizona State the week before Thanksgiving.
