Other Games 11/12 - 11/16

Rod Gilmore sucks as broadcaster-"I'd imagine the committee will smile on Pedo State." Dumb ****ing comment.

Northwestern failed to cover against UMass. Spread of 40, final score 45-6.

How did this game miss being on a national broadcast?

I think a more relevant question is how did Sparty fall so far? they're getting boatraced by Michigan 44-10.
Harbaugh showing no mercy.

Things not looking good for Dantonio. When has one of his teams ever been this undisciplined on the field?

Could we have both Michigan schools looking for new coaches after this season?

Dantonio won't get fired I don't think but he could retire-he's 63 and has had health issues.

Heartbreaking for Tua. Hopefully this isn't as serious as Bo Jackson's injury.
This is a serious traumatic injury where surgery by an experienced pro in a timely manner is essential. I have been reading about the surgery and outcomes for this type of injury. It’s way to early to tell the impact on his long-term playing prospects and overall health, but thus is a very serious injury from what I have read.

Not the same thing as what Jackson had though from what I've read. Saban's gotta take some blame here-you're up 28 points and you're still playing your starters?

Reasonable question, but I think most coaches play their starters through the end of 1H in these situations.

These things always get the benefit of hindsight. Starters are always playing 1H. However, there were legit questions raised prior to the game about whether Tua should have even been playing in the first place. That isn’t a hindsight situation.

I'd think they can deal with this sort of injury better now than they could in Bo's time. I don't know how similar they are, really? As a White Sox fan, I remember they gave him a shot in baseball after his hip replacement. I remember him hitting a home run. Think it was '92 or '93 ish. Anyway, hope the best for Tua, sucks that injuries are part of the game.
