Other games 11/28-30

62-50 SJSU pending the extra point with about 2:00 left. SJSU figured out they were allowed to play defense in the second half.

This game may have cost the MWC millions of $$ with a shot at a BCS level bowl game going out the window.

It also reduces the MWC bowl tie-ins by 1 while also making SJSU eligible. Not a good result for the Rammies.

Yup, bad day for the sheep. Reduce their bowl chances (although they could still get one) and lose their share of BCS bowl money. How much would that be for them $750,000?
 
Just as I was going to post how FGs won't win the game for OSU they pick Mariota....See if they can keep up
 
Mariota keeping OSU in this. Klatt is a really good announcer, as a person not so much.
 
Good games today...love the Apple Cup, Civil War, Arky-LSU...good stuff. Boy Fresneck sure wet the bed. Weren't they pretty much guaranteed a BCS berth if they ran the table?

Fresno really needed to finish ahead of N. Illinois to have a shot at a BCS game, and UNI had passed them in the BCS rankings before this game from what I heard today.
 
helfy so obviously doesn't have as good a feeling for running this offense as Chip. good stuff on that last drive tho. weird seeing an Oregon OL manhandled more often than not this year.

Oregon's gotten a couple good breaks tonight. First that fumble that found its way across the goal line for a touchback. Then the slip on the turf to prevent a touchdown.
 
Oregon drives 70 yards on DAT's back. Then Mariota misses a wide open TD and they stall. Then miss the FG. oh booyyyy

And they get another break when Mariota fumbles and the ball bounces right back up to him. then Oregon bucks convention and goes for it on 4th and 11 and gets the TD but fails on the 2-point try. 30-29 trendy ducks
