The only way a P4 champ doesn't get in is if two G6 champs are ranked ahead of them and that will never happen in the history of ever.
If San Diego State manages to lose at home to New Mexico their program is officially dead.
Aztecs lost 8 of their last 10 last year before hiring Sean Lewis off Prime's CU staff. So far doesn't look like they have gotten much better.
Lewis will get some time. The program is hurting for money and Lewis signed a 5 year deal starting at about $1.7 million per year. SDSU can't afford to dump him this early although the Fire Sean Lewis Facebook and web pages are already up.
No perfect thread for this. Especially in the football forum. But the Gameday piece on Ben Herbstriet was so sweet. I teared up a bit.
Agreed but it's definitely in the realm of possibility for a P4 champ to only be the 5th highest ranked conference champ and therefore not get a bye.
You are thinking of Incarnate Word Cam Ward.Okay, feel free to make serious fun of me, but I was today years old when I connected the dots from Wazzu Cam Ward to Miami Cam Ward.

Is it targeting if the guy leads with the crown on his teammate? They're reviewing for targeting in the Miami/GT game, but the dude hit his own guy.
And also, just out of a sense of decency.Gotta root against Miami and Ward to help Hunter with the Heisman

I think you're confusing GT for Tom Osborne.I want to root for GT, but I've never forgiven them for 1990.
Looks more like GT earlier in the year.Great drive by GT. Hold Miami on the next series by getting away with a DPI. I hope Miami is really, really upset that they didn't get a call to go their way.
They're FAing with another inferior ACC opponent. This might be the week where they finally FO.Great drive by GT. Hold Miami on the next series by getting away with a DPI. I hope Miami is really, really upset that they didn't get a call to go their way.
Are we certain we would get first bid at the tickets we normally get during the season if we got a home game?Is it selfish of me as a season ticket holder for me to want a 5-8 seed?
ETA - I think we either get a bye as the Big 12 champ, a 9-12 as an at large, or not get in at all. I do think we jump Boise if we win out and beat BYU.
