Other games 11/9 - 11/13

Has a coach ever been fired between the 3rd and 4th quarter.

If this were a road game (laugh at the idea of an upper end SEC program playing an OOC game far enough away to require a plane) they might be putting Mullen on a different one.

I don't think so.

South Florida isn't very good yet was within 10 late in the game. There are a lot of P5 teams that would simply run over Cincy on both sides of the ball.

They have some excellent individual players but they haven't dominated the way they should if they are really top 4.

No one outside of Georgia has dominated like a top 4 team.

Not consistently. I'm seeing some teams that, when they're right, can be dominant and can beat Georgia. But those same teams could also lose to a team outside the top 20 without it shocking me.

QB play, in particular, seems down this year.

Meh. There are a lot of flawed teams this season.
Flawed in one thing, if you are playing a G5 schedule you have to prove you aren't flawed.

Is this team better than Frosty's UCF team? I don't think so.

Everybody loves the underdog but no based on what they have shown Cincy is not one of the four best teams, even if they win out.

They're definitely not one of the 4 best teams but the question is do they deserve to be in the top 4. Alot of the teams in the top 8 could lose again and OU is on their way to losing today. Michigan is tied with 7 minutes left. So it could very easily reach a point where 2 or 3 of the teams in front of them lose and nobody behind them will have a resume good enough to pass them. OU was one of those teams.

Bottom line, as long as Cincy wins out there'll almost certainly be enough carnage for them to get in.

Does OU losing guarantee the playoff spots for Alabama and Georgia even if they both finish with two losses?

You kidding? He’s protecting his team.

any coach would do that.
You can protect your team and not bark like an idiot at the refs. Overall, that was a dumb situation with Baylor calling timeout and kicking a field goal for what appears to be a tiebreaker point thing.

Gotcha. He was hot. Likely due to some earlier calls plus not being able to find a solution to Baylor D.

Not if Bama loses another game.

They could still get in but there would be a lot of arguments against them.

No way that the SEC would get two teams in with two losses each but don't see any way that happens. Georgia isn't going to lose two.

Pretty sure he meant UGA runs the table and Bama has 2 losses after losing to UGA in the SECCG.

There's also the possiblity of 2 B1G teams getting in - Michigan and MSU both win out and both end up with 1 loss and MSU is B1G champ.

Lastly, don't forget about ND. Sigh
