Other Games 8/27/22

Utah State, one of the top teams in the MWC, was down to a bad UConn team 14-0 early but has come back to take a 24-14 lead at the half.
Wyoming down 17-3 to Illinois
Duquesne-FSU delayed due to weather
UCONN has zero talent and is a deathbed program. They'll lose this game by 26, but they actually look well coached and like they have a pulse. That's a HUGE step for that program.

Lol what??

I'm certain that future opponents are just trembling at the thought of facing this Nebraska team.

Next week they get an FCS team but it is North Dakota and it has some talent and is well coached. Not predicting a Nebraska loss but by the end of the game it might feel like one although for corn fans any win right now is reason to celebrate.

The following week they get Georgia Southern, lose that one and they might just have to pay the $15 million on the spot.

That follows with Oklahoma which doesn't look promising for them then "easy" part of the B1G schedule meaning the teams they have only lost to usually, not every time. End of the season they get Minnesota @Michigan Wisconsin and @Iowa so losing out is very likely.

And with Trev Albert as AD once they do fire Frost the odds are strong that they will turn around and hire another guy based on being part of the "husker family" meaning more of the same (losing.)

Whipple clearly forced on him. His B1G comments were telling about O. And then he throws Whipple under bus post-game.
He allows Whipple to come in and run the O and then has to take the scrutiny that comes with being HC. If so, he should have resigned before what he should have known was going to be a toxic **** show

I'm beginning to hate Utah State - BYU and Utah are already up there. Cocky and whiny. You're playing arguably the worst program in D1, at home, getting every call, against a true Frosh QB thrown in because of injuries. Settle your sh!t down.

Fvck you Aggies. You just made the list.

If it makes you feel any better they go to Tuscaloosa next week

And while we were'nt watching... Wyoming SUCKS. Just sped through the recording and OMFG.

Oklahoma is going to go up there and **** on them. That's a program with a huge chip on its shoulder in my view-they lost a coach and several transfers....but they've got two games against teams they should beat before they go to Lincoln. That's also OU's first chance to play in front of a big TV audience this year.

The game last year had OU favored by a big number but they struggled to get going (part of why Spencer Rattler ended up eventually getting benched) and the Nebraska people acted like they weren't impressed.

Good chance that this year Oklahoma makes sure they are impressed.

That QB of theirs looked pretty good last night but Hawaii is god-awful.
Does Hawaii play Wyoming?
