Every broadcast today the guys in the both are talking about “this team’s identity and that team’s identity.” Kirby Smart just talked about his team’s offensive identity of sticking to running the ball.

WTAF is our identity this season? I bet if asked Prime and Shurmur wouldn’t have an answer.

Targeting has to be the worst rule in all of sports. Fine for a 15 yard penalty, or even multiple targeting calls gets you ejected, but one penalty and an ejection is insane. That is a ****ing football play and how you are supposed to tackle is ridiculous.

WR screens, and hoping to hold the opponent to FG attempts at the end of 80 yard drives.

At least make the threshold for ejection higher. Give them 15 yards if you want, but no one should be ejected for something when you can’t determine definitively that the player intentionally went high or led with the head.
 
The targeting rule, as we all know, is not about regulating fair competition. It's not really even about player safety. It's about protecting from a lawsuit by being able to demonstrate that they went above and beyond to try to eliminate head injuries from the game.
 
Old Dominion is up 28-0 at Virginia Tech at halftime. Yikes Hokies. They are probably the worst P4 team in the country this season...

Wyo is stifling Utah in Laramie so far... 3-0 Utes at the end of Q1.
