Funny. FSU needed to get off the field quicker after that.

They're going to get absolutely mauled by Miami. Former Nub DC Tony White 😆

Fan is an idiot.

I will say, though, that if I was a fan of the Hoos I would have a lot of attitude towards FSU. Here's my school trying to hold the ACC together and voting for that while the Noles are doing all they can to break it up with public statements, lawsuits and attempts to sell their program to Saudi investors -- and my program is the one that the B1G & SEC will be fighting over while nobody wants FSU other than the Big 12.

Get off the field quicker? Pretty sure there were 10k UVA fans on the field before the final pass was ruled incomplete (or an INT?).
At the start of the play I thought I saw some movement at the LOS. Trying to imagine the officials trying to get all the fans off the field and the teams lined up for another play after an encroachment or false start.

And considering the disruption involved the officials would have no choice but to assess a 15 yard penalty against Virginia which would certainly not make the fans any happier.

Friday night was a trio of great football games.

(At least I'm assuming the Houston-Beavers game got great in the 4th quarter. I turned it off and fell asleep when OSU went up 24-10.)
Looks like fun set of games, I was out with a buddy I've known since 1st grade for a couple beers.

Houston game rankles a bit, as has been noted.

Funny ESPN had a fellatio piece on FSU front paged yesterday. Lol

To BuffBronco...I loved watching Aussie rules football as a young'un, early early days of ESPN....was on pretty reg.

Thought I'd be flipping between GT-WF and the Cincy-KU & UCF-KSU games. But quickly realized that I have almost zero interest in Big 12 football unless the game result matters for CU. At this point in the season, I don't know which team to cheer for or against, so it's not compelling. I did learn, though, that B12 games are on TNT sometimes.

Edit: this guy gets it

I knew the Arkansas defense was bad but didn't know it was THIS bad. No pressure on Carr, receivers running wide open, poor tackling.

Huge trick play by SC, comes back due to an ineligible lineman downfield, and he didn't need to be there, wasn't blocking anyone.

Have no real interest in Illinois one way or the other but always want to see SC lose.

This game is going to be a crazy one, neither team can stop the other.

I didn't think they were bad. Two 1-score losses to good teams. But today is a brutal start to a really hard schedule the rest of the way. 3-9 or even 2-10 is on the table in a year I thought they'd go bowling.

I meant to say the Arkansas defense, corrected it above. But yes they could very easily be 4-0 right now

That one needs to be overturned, the ballcarrier was down before the fumble. Refs give it to SC.

Huge turn in the game, Illini could have gone into the locker room with a two score lead.

I can't believe they switched that fumble to an incomplete by invoking the tuck rule bs. GT got hosed on that. I absolutely hate that rule. If the QB decides not to release the throw and is bringing it back in, that's a fvcking fumble if it gets knocked out of his hand. Ridiculous way to officiate that play that goes against what every player, coach and fan believes about football when they see it - that it was a fumble, not an incomplete pass.
