The end of the Arizona Iowa State game shows the pace of play problem in college football. It is ridiculous that Arizona took so many timeouts in the final two minutes.

Alabama had a great win last night, but I can't rank them over FSU.....who clearly looks like the 3rd best team in the ACC right now. Defense was terrible on Friday. 46 points to a Chandler Morris led Virginia? 😂

Surprised ISU manhandled Arizona like that. The gap between them and TT isn't that far apart.

Why Lanning, because CP's dumbass son ran his mouth and CU players were scuffing up the O pre-game and then Dan had his speech and you got your **** pushed in? Maybe that hate should be directed at your dumbass coach who can't hire a good staff, can't manage a clock, and can't win without his son at QB. Lanning is incredibly smart, hard working, makes great hires(Kenny Dillingham, Will Stein), respects his opponents, respects the media and is an elite motivator. Meanwhile you've got CP saying stupid **** every week after each loss deflecting blame, playing musical chairs at QB, etc. You don't hate Lanning, you'd die jizzing if he were your coach. You hate winners, like all losers.

Oh, and he's a family man, his wife is a cancer survivor and Dan runs the **** cancer media campaigns that Oregon does every year.

Lanning struck a nerve with me by saying that Oregon wasn't built on hype or publicity stunts. That and Nike money is why they're not the same as Oregon State.

With that, I 100% agree that Lanning doesn't build or run his program that way. They're disciplined, tough and pretty much gimmick free. But I don't think it's crazy or wrong for CU to be modeling the rebuild of its program on the pre-Lanning Oregon model.

Shilo takes plenty of heat here, was regularly called an undisciplined idiot in game threads, and similar when he drew the ejection in pre season while in Tampa.

The dislike of Lanning is probably more universal, but we're all a bunch of fanatics rooting for laundry; are you surprised?

Where do you see me saying that Shilo didn't hurt the team by regularly crossing the line from aggressive/tough/taking smart risks to make a momentum play into cheap & reckless way too often?

I'm not sure any of us didn't complain about that. 🤷

How people feel about Dan Lanning here is how many feel about Deion outside this fanbase. The man can coach and is moving Oregon away from just hype and Nike's advertisement wing. There are not many better current coaches than Lanning at the moment.
