Impressed by Wyo. Bohl has taken a spread team and given them a power rushing attack...makes you wonder.

Maybe UMass is better than I gave them credit for....any glimmer of hope at this point I suppose.
 
Been watching UMASS Vandy -

UMASS's starting RB left the game early. One of their safeties was ejected for targeting, too. Even so, UMASS has controlled the game.

Some highlights:
In the 2nd quarter, UMASS's backup RB fumbled a toss sweep on their own 10 yard line. Vandy recovered it for an easy TD. Then they tried for 2 and didn't get close.

In the 3rd quarter, UMASS's QB (Frohnappel) picked up a first down with his feet on a long 3rd down. He didn't slide right away and got killed for it. Looked like a fumble that Vandy returned for a long TD, but the play was reviewed and reversed. Ground caused the fumble.

Vandy just threw a 40 yard TD.. but their QB ran across the LOS before he threw it. The play was reviewed and reversed. Later on the same drive, Vandy lined up to go for a 4th and 14 around midfield. They picked up a false start penalty and had to punt.

Derek Mason looks clueless.
 
Annnd Vandy just blocked a punt for a TD

Vandy tried to go for 2 again.. didn't get it.

This would be a FG game if Vandy would've just kicked their extra point earlier.
 
Hope ECU not converting those chances in the first half doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.
 
TD Louisville. 21-20 Cards. Bailed out, interception overturned by weak roughing the passer call. 7 min remaining.
 
4th and 1 for Vandy from UMASS's 27 yard line.

Forced to go for it.. they convert it, but holding brings it back.

They still go for it (4th and 11) and don't get it.

Terrible coaching. Should've been kicking for the tie there.

4 minutes and change to go, UMASS ball.
