Other Games Thread - Thanksgiving Weekend

To our success? I thinkk so. Shooting to be better than Iowa or Nebraska is not going to help us too much in the Pac-12 South. Do we really battle Big 10 teams in recruiting?
That isn't what anyone is saying. Would shooting to be better than Alabama help, :smile2:

That didn't look like a completion on Nebraska's winning TD and they didn't take a very long look at it.. Yes he caught the ball in the endzone but definitely didn't hold on to it as we went of out of bounds. I guess it's one of those where it wouldn't have been a catch anywhere on the field except in the endzone.

Hawk put the Kenny Bell curse on us.

It hurts seeing a due hard buff fan be the best cornhusker WR of all time

It was a TD. Looked at the replay several times. No doubt it was a catch.

ASU v Arizona locked up at 21 at half. Both teams with a defensive td, both teams with a special teams play to set up another score. Good game so far!

I don't get some of the AF's play calling.

You talking about right before the half there? I don't know what kind of range their FG kicker has but it seems like they could've gone for a quick pass and then tried a long FG before the half. They had 2 TO's left so they could've even thrown a short pass inbounds.

That and third and long at the 10 or 15 before the FG.

AF gets a big advantage out of running something very different than their opponents see on a week to week basis. The disadvantage of what they do is those times when they have to get downfield in a short period of time they aren't very good at it.

They have two choices in situations like that. Try to do something that you don't practice much and aren't very good at or do what you do well and hope that you break one. Either option is fairly low percentage in those situations.

Why do I know that kids name? I kept hearing it called and felt like I was in a time warp. Didnt Nebraska have a Kenny Bell years ago? I just can't place the name...

Can anyone help me with this? Why do I know this kids name?

Looks like we're heading toward an Arizona-Oregon rematch for the Pac-12 Championship.

Have to admit, I greatly underestimated Arizona this year. Credit where credit is due, RichRod and company have done a fine job in Tucson.

Rich Rod can coach, no doubt about it. Potentially winning a very tough division with a RS FR at quarterback.
