You're goddamn right I'll complain about the bull**** breast cancer marketing machine when they rake in hundreds of millions and other cancers get jack squat for funding. Not to mention the bullying tactics by the breast cancer marketing machine and the gross mismanagement of funds by the Susan Komen Foundation.

But Oregon gets to pat themselves on the back and act like they are doing something good.
This probably belongs in the politics forum but you are spot on. The amount of money spent not only on research but also on supporting those who have various types of cancer and their families is grossly disproportionate when you look at the dollars per patient.

This applies outside of cancer as well. One example is that because of decades of Jerry Lewis and the telethon funding for muscular dystrophy is exponentially higher than for some other conditions that impact many more people.

Absolutely.

And I should have just left it alone, but @Trogdor's and @hawg1's ignorance pissed me off.

OSU-Texas ending has been bonkers. Two interceptions by Texas in the last two minutes with a chance to tie at 41.

Cal has 83 total yards and 5 rushing yards at the half against Washington.

I think it's safe to say that stellar defensive performance last weekend was not entirely about us.

Cal somehow scored 21 points last night and actually had a chance to tie the game.

Maybe we have a chance against Washington......

Program alums from the U not gonna react well to getting abused at home by Duke and then disrespected like this.

I think a lot of their problems are like CU, systemic. I could see them losing like that to Duke in basketball ,but football, hell no.

Their systemic problems are not the same as CU's. They can get anyone in they want and their administration from top to bottom is fully supportive (or at least that is what has supposedly changed). They also have massive NIL boosters. They just hired the wrong coach, IMO

Could be right.
