Other games weekend of 10/11-10/13

20-14 ISU at half. Had a FG blocked for a WVU touchdown which has kept it close.

A few things of note.
There is one team in the SEC that's really good and a bunch of average after that.
Man...Jake Browning sure misses having Pettis and John Ross to throw to.
UW and Oregon was the best game of the day. Both teams played well. Wasn't a slog to get through like the SEC defense fests.
**** Penn State!
Bama-LSU will be interesting for one reason...LSU isn't going to give the Bama receivers the huge cushion they've received up to this point in the season.
**** Auburn!
UGA, UF, and LSU should all be ranked right around each other, and that SHOULD be somewhere around #20, but it'll be more like #10.
And **** Penn State!

Also, just beat USC.

That holding call on the OL on 3rd down win it for Oregon. UW should have declined it to bring up 4th down
Nonsense, Oregon was 3/3 on 4th and 1 in that game, and that would have been the shortest one. Petersen knew Oregon would go for it. In the post game interview an Oregon OL said they had 2 plays called on 3rd and goal at the six in OVERTIME. They weren't kicking a FG on 4th and 1.

Is it just me or does it seem like Jonathan Taylor has quietly been great again? I mean it just seems like you haven’t heard as much about him this year but he’s still the 3rd leading rusher in the country.

Touchdown Clones!

28-14 with the 2pt conversion.

12:17 left in Q4.

Iowa State has a QB of the future, might keep the coach there for the next 3-4 years.
Like seeing them do well, kinda like our little brother back in the Big 8/12 days.
