Other games weekend of 11/10-11/12

Also helps us that #13 OSU needed a missed XP at the end to hold on 45-44 over a pretty bad TTU squad. #14 VA Tech lost. #15 is Utah. So while #16 WVU should get some love I don't see any way we have a team behind us jump the Buffs. (Also, #17 North Carolina lost so there's going to be a monumental shakeup this week.)

usc won't jump us? they beat us, they've won 6 straight, and they just beat uw. hard move from 20 and i will be pissed, but given how long we have been down, we lose perception fights to usc and pedo state and choklahoma, etc.

we're top 10 for sure. amazing year.

They're coming from #20 and as well as they're playing it would be damn difficult for someone to make the argument that USC would be the pick over CU on a neutral field... considering we lost by 4 at their place with our backup QB playing.

What a weekend. Got a nice gut punch with Clemson going down, but we were walking that tight rope all year. I'm just hoping we can use the loss to wake up a team which is arguably the most talented in the country. But I guess we'll see.

Fortunately we lucked out with Michigan & Washington both going down, meaning for the first time since 1985, the #2, #3 and #4 schools lost in the same week. USC beating Southern Cal isn't so nuts since the Trojans are so talented, despite their hiccups...but Michigan's loss makes me wonder if they really are worth the hype. While Clemson has been the most publicly criticized highly-ranked team in the nation (and deservedly so), they did win @Auburn, @Florida State and against Louisville....Michigan's trip to Iowa this week was only the second time Michigan had left the state this SEASON, and the only time they had played a team on the road who had won a conference game. Michigan has destroyed some really bad competition, edged Wisconsin, and beat up Colorado after Sefo went down...it'll be interesting to see how they rebound.

What's more interesting is if Penn St & Ohio St win out, and Alabama, Clemson, and Washington win out, because who the heck will get the #4 slot in this situation? Penn St will have two losses, and their only big wins will be a fluke against OSU and a win against (presumably) Wisconsin in the B1G Championship. Ohio State will have no conference title, no division title, but just one loss and impressive wins against Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Michigan. And then of course there's Louisville who lost @ Clemson by just 6 points. College football is the ****.

They've either got to beat New Mexico (5-1 MW) in FoCo or win at SDSU to get that 6th win and a bowl game.
 
That Wazzou game is looking like a really tough game. Leach is pouring it on teams and the Buffs are going to have bring their top game to win.

I don't understand why we continue to be butt hurt over this. It was best for all that he went to Cal. Sefos been great while one of them would have sulked from the bench. And Montez got some much needed touches he might have missed with both here.

Calm down man it was a joke about cal sucking and not making a bowl game.

They pour it on sporadically but they beat Oregon State and ASU by 9 points combined - we beat them by 65.

We're 8-2 despite having only played 4 games at Folsom so far and our average margin of victory at Folsom is 30.5.

WSU is very beatable in Boulder.

They've got to win 1 of their last 2.

7-3 (5-1) New Mexico in FoCo
9-1 (6-0) San Diego State in SD

CSU may very well not make it to a bowl game this year.
 
Louisville is struggling early. Their 1st turnover was a Houston TD. Their 2nd gives Houston the ball at about midfield.

7-0 late 1st.

I remember my HS PE coach was Gary Mullins' dad. Gary was Houston's QB from '69 to '71. His GF and my sis were friends. His GF was hawt and I was 15. She started flirting with me just to mess with me. She made me get a boner. Bitch.
