Other games weekend of 9/28-9/30

Really impressed with the Wazzu defense overall. Think they can actually carry that team. Not as impressed with Falk.

Fun game. Both of those teams are pretty good IMO.
Falk was really inconsistent with his accuracy. Something is wrong there.

You're not impressed with a depleted OL? Bold statement.

I meant the whole team-Nothing about Southern Cal is impressive right now. The offensive line issues aside-Darnold hasn't looked like the same guy who won 9 games for them last year.........and there's a game ending fumble. Struggled to stop the run-WSU averaged four yards on the ground, and they gave up a big one on the final drive.

They probably are not a top five team, but they had to go on the road to play a pretty good team on a short week. Even truly great teams will struggle under those circumstances.

Lindgren should be looking to get Lindsay at least five touches in the passing game against Wazzu.
If CU has any chance, Montez has to get the ball out quick. I know USC o-line was a little depleted, but WSU defense looks legit to me.

Saw that.

If SC isn't the best team, the conference obviously sucks.

**** them.
I am not an ESPN hater like most, but that comment was the most comical comment I've heard in a while. She even said Washington should now be scared. I can't stop laughing.

b..

Unless CU somehow finds any consistency on offense, forget it. This program has stepped on their own D***S since beating utah at home.

She's trying to talk CFP, and not making sense. Two problems with the Big 10-One, none of the four best teams in that conference have an impressive OOC win that sticks out along the lines of Ohio State beating Oklahoma last year.....other than maybe Michigan's win over Florida. The bigger problem is that conference will cannibalize itself the next couple months-Penn State has to play Michigan and Ohio State in back to back weeks late in October. Michigan has to play Wisconsin and Ohio State back to back in late November.....that's in addition to Ohio State's loss to Oklahoma. I think the East champion there probably winds up no better than 11-1. Wisconsin has it better, but they'd draw one of those four teams in the B1G title game in December.

As far as Washington, obviously the OOC schedule is an issue.......but you can't pass on them if they're 12-0 and the B1G champ is has at least at loss. Here's what the Puppies have left:

at Oregon State
Cal
at Arizona State
UCLA
Oregon
at Stanford
Utah
Washington State

I have a hard time seeing where UW loses right now.....maybe Stanford?

The highest ranked team in the Pac 12 just lost, but she literally said that the Pac 12 was kaput. That comment just made me think all she has seen this year is USC. Bad sports journalism at its finest. Not a big fan of ripping people on twitter, but I may start tonight.

In regards to your last sentence. I think Washington has to have a complete meltdown to lose. They are so well coached, have somewhat of a favorable schedule, and the most dominate team on both lines in the pac 12. Think Washington can skate until the apple bowl if they stay focused. Apple Bowl will be a lot of fun to watch this year.

Wrong dish.

Vandy at Florida. Under 2 minutes into the game. 2 punts. This game is going to be like watching paint dry. I'm going out for a bit until stuff gets interesting today around 2pm.

One more note on USC-Wazzu last night: Did anybody see what Leach said after the game? "Its like Woodstock, except everybody has their clothes on." This man is a treasure. Patebuff posted this already. Sorry.
