We beat Utah last year, and they are supposed to be second? And us last? Nobody thinks we will get any better? I guess the QB issue is worse than we thoguht? Probably just too many question marks. Oh well, that is why we play the games. I just want a bowl game. I dont care how bad. A bowl game.

Hope they don't require a service provider. This would revolutionize my football experience. I gave up cable/satellite about 6 years ago, and in the interim I've been forced to stream the games from seedy online sites. I would gladly pay to get the games on the funbox - although I worry about blackout restrictions.

Media is digging for a rivalry here. Its obnoxious
Honestly don't care about his ball catching skills being top notch. If we can hit him every now and then great. But if he can blow up some DL and open up some running lanes I would be stoked.
It would have been a coach mac moment. The media digging for a rival is ridiculous. It has gotten so old.

Agree - but I am sure they were coached not to. Still need to earn the right to be a brash upstart. Saying we want USC to be our rival on the heels of a 3 win season would have been laughable to everyone else. You could tell David wanted to though.......
Both Ray and David hinted at it enough without actually saying it. Most interesting news to me though was that Embree seems to actually believe P-Rich could be back this season. If he can be back at 100% before the season, that would be an incredible recovery

Yeah, they weren't exactly exuding confidence.
I get the impression that Embree really hates these things. Would much rather be left alone to do is work on the football field. I bet the questions get old especially when they repeat like they do

As a fan, it stunk.....I want instant gratification and anything to get me bye until the fall camp regular fixes start to materialize. For a team flying at the bottom of the radar it was perfect. Get in, get it over with and get out, no bulletin board material, nothing memorable for other teams.

Yeah, well he needs to learn that he has to be the face of the program. Prospects and their parents are watching this. He needs to bring his A game at each and every event. His attitude reflected a team in the cellar of a division rather than a dark horse ready to break out. Just sayin.

I get the feeling he will enjoy them more when he can say, "Look out USC, we are coming for you this season, we are going to beat you, we are telling you now, and there is nothing you can do about it." I think not having a team that is ready for him to put in that position yet makes it an unpleasant task to have to get through.
