Penn State transfers

The back they have is just as good, if not better. Never really been impressed with Silas, hes a nice player. Saying that, Usc zones some runs, that fits him.
 
ESPN reporting that PSU QB Rob Bolden visited LSU. I know he had been looking to transfer last year and there seemed to be some talk about Boulder as a potential landing spot. Perhaps he ends up in Baton Rouge.
 
It will be interesting to see if the floodgates open this year. Lots of schools are already within a few days of starting camp. It may be an issue to get guys accepted and enrolled and the question of transfer credits and eligibility may be an issue.

On the other hand if a couple of prominent guys go then the who idea of standing solid together goes out the window and the scramble begins.

Wonder if they'll change him to WR. He's terrible at QB.
 
PSU safety Tim Buckley (presumably their backup FS) heading to NCSU, he's a Raleigh native but his father is a PSU alum.
 
According to Embree, he doesn't expect a big exodus until the end of the season.
 
I still think the sanctions on PSU is going to have a trickle down effect where we land a few better recruits. I know we don't recruit the same area really but when those guys go to Michigan instead of PSU that opens up spots that Michigan competes against us for and so forth. I guess it sounds like right now they are doing a very good job holding onto most of their recruits.

It's absolutely ridiculous that someone can transfer to a school that is technically being "sanctioned" right now. We might as well start paying players. It doesn't seem to matter to the NCAA. Oregon, Cal, Miami, Auburn and U$C have been completely unaffected.

Teams can go over the schollie limit to accomodate PSU transfers.

Agree, I think it´s ridiculous teams currently under probation/scholarship reductions etc. can add PSU transfers just like everybody else.
