Just to split this off from the other thread. I guess the four are as clear as night and day and the sites are determined based on what works best for the one seed, so I'd guess Clemson goes to Miami for he 1/4 matchup and the 2/3 game goes to Arlington.

Show airs tomorrow at noon Eastern

I'm going with #1 Clemson v. #4 OU ... and # 2 Bama v. # 3 Sparty.

Can I get a spot on the ESPN "experts" show now? I could really use the scratch.

How loud can you yell? And can you do it for a full hour? How do you feel about threatening NBA MVPs live on camera?

One thing to bear in mind about Sparty: A full month off with no games should do wonders for Connor Cook's shoulder.

Also gives D'Antonio some extra time to prepare. Guy is an excellent coach, he will have his team ready to go.

A guess at non playoff matchups

Rose: Stanford vs. Iowa
Fiesta: Notre Dame vs Ohio State
Sugar: Florida vs Oklahoma State
Peach: Houston vs UNC

I don't see Florida. If it's an SEC team it should be Ole Miss. And FSU might end up rated above UNC out of the ACC.

Despite big game losing, I think Okie wins it. Quarterback factor. That guy is a winner and they have enough talent elsewhere to do it.

Agree with you. Wasn't impressed with Alabama-they beat a team that struggled to complete a forward pass, and Henry did most his damage after the game was not in doubt. If it's Clemson-Mich State, that's a tough one to call. I think Oklahoma will clock Alabama. The sooner d is good enough to take Henry away and Coker can't win a game against a competent offense through the air

And it will be an SEC team. My understanding is the rose is big 10-pac 12 and sugar is big 12-sec in years they don't have semifinals.

I could see Bama winning is if they knock Mayfield out of the game, which I happen to think is a distinct possibility.

What is it...10 freaking bowl teams for the P12? That is some tough sledding for us trying to turn the corner and get to a bowl.

Ratings for MSU vs Bama will be higher than other scenarios out of the first round. Doesn't matter the seeding.

I know some people think it's very "SEC" to think favorably of other teams just because they're in your conference, but having 10 bowl teams raises the profile of the conference for football and it will be very nice for the country to tune into those bowl matchups and see a Pac-12 team. Battling bad start times and a less accessible network are things the conference has working against them nationally. I want sportswriters, fans, and prospective athletes from all over to take notice that the Pac-12 is putting teams into bowls and think CU will benefit from that association even if it comes from other teams' success.

Selections are in:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Michigan State
4. Oklahoma

Committee´s final 25. Looks like Iowa would´ve gotten in over Stanford had there been an upset in Charlotte.
