I think lil' hawk in a run oriented I-form offense will be good.
I still think that Hansen should get a majority of the fall practice reps. I think one of Hawkins strengths is that he can learn the new nuances on the fly if it is decided that Hansen just won't work.
Same here. Cody threw for 3,000 yards as a redshirt freshman in a similar offense. He also did not have a single pass deflected or batted down during the spring game.
The running game will set the tone on offense. Cody just needs to protect the football and make the necessary completions to keep opposing defenses honest.
