Pressure in College Football

So how did the pressure-thing work out on Saturday?

The Buffs certainly came out relaxed, confident, no hint of pressure. Michigan started out poorly, guessing it was more a care of dissing us than choking under pressure. Once we got ip 14-0, then 21-7, you better believe there were some intense flashes of pressure on the M side of the field.

So what havoc did that pressure cause to Michigan? By halftime they had the lead. It increased their focus and intensity, causing better play. Start of Q3, the Buffs took the lead and re-applied the pressure. Again, Michigan responded positively.

Pressure - might destroy a FG kicker who can't manage it, but doesn't necessarily cause trouble give a talented or experienced team.
