Travis Hunter isn’t human.

Travis Hunter is not human. If you’ve watched Colorado football over the last two seasons, that’s not new news. Hunter has been making superhuman plays for the Buffs since arriving in Boulder, but he may have just made his best one yet.

In case you need further reinforcement that Travis, in fact, an alien, just take a second to watch this play:

TRAVIS HUNTER IS UNREAL

On 4th and 6 in Utah territory, Shedeur Sanders lobbed a prayer up to Travis, and his prayer was answered. In double cover, Hunter leaps over two defensive backs, highpoints the ball, and goes fully horizontal while retaining control of the football.

Seriously. Just look at this. It’s incredible.

The talent it takes to make that catch is generational. Jumping that high is a feat in itself, but having the body control to retain possession of the football while legitimately parallel to the ground is amazing.

Oh, and he had an interception. Granted, the ball kinda just fell into his lap, but it still counts nonetheless.

Give this man his Heisman. This isn’t even a debate anymore. It’s time for Travis to join Rashaan Salaam in Colorado Buffaloes history.
