2 years in Austin and those assholes definitely did not make fans out of my kids. I turn on the game and the youngest says, "I'm rooting for OU because I hate Texas." I say, "Why? You lived there for two years." B: "Their fans are jerks, and Bevo is stupid."

I was torn until your remarks from your youngest. Replace two years with 24 and it becomes all too clear. Rep delivered.
The athletes on the field are just amazing. Especially the DL for both teams.

texas may be young, but they have some serious players up front. might not be enough today, but UT's DL is going to be sick with Jeffcoat and Okafor.
broyles and stills stacked out to one side is maybe too much for UT's db's to handle all day.
Brent and Kirk should be embarrassed. They are dangerously close to sounding like carnival barkers or infomercial hosts.
haha. I recommended Rugged not take the -11 just cause you hadn't seen UT's new staff play a real opponent yet and there was really no barometer for UT. Looks like youth is determining the outcome.
Although, the problem with UT has also been the senior safeties. They have not been good.

it kinda sucks watching other teams that can line up and throw the ball for completions and their play designs actually work. sort of like in the early days watching the Rockies pitching. you'd watch playoff games and realize you hadn't seen good pitching a few months.
refs seem to have a hard on for OU....pretty questionable PI call on Stills i thought and now the review. enjoy that new SWC OU, i guess.

This game is a beat down.
And that's a beautiful thing. Actually have top give Mooshburger credit for his comment about how Stoopsy "hasn't forgotten about the 2007 Fiesta Bowl and the young Boise St. offensive coordinator who outsmarted him."

Texas is getting the typical Texas treatment and Baylor got too much love for beating TCU.

If they had made a bowl game last year, imagine how much higher they would have started off being ranked. We'd be looking at a #3 vs. #6 matchup in all likelihood.
