Red River Shootout Thread

Wow! Stoops has no qualms running up the score. KInda wish I were in Austin Monday to listen to the whining and excuses.
 
UT D looks a little like ours. Good up the middle and not so good in the backfield.
 
for a program that basically gets it's pick of athletes, amazing to me UT's run game since Ricky Williams (or maybe Jamal Charles) is so ineffective. and, now bringing in Harsin, they are going to be pretty rinky dink. McCoy's teams were zone read, no real rb game, and dink dunk.
 
Hate OU but would love to see them hand 50+ on short whorn.

ESPN would have a great time spinning that into a reason to call and demand the short whorn network.
 
You have 2 qbs, you dont have one. It wouldnt matter who was playing qb for Texas anyway. They are losing up front, cant stop OU on D either. Definitely doesnt help turning it over and it being 6 like just happened. I hope OU keeps the foot on the gas and hangs 60, be a pleasure to see.
 
Texas is purposely throwing this game so Sooner fans will feel bad and subscribe to the LHN out of pity.

That's the problem. They've recruited athletes and not football players. OU gets UT's leftovers evry year, but still does much more with them.

not sure that Muschamp is the 2nd coming of Lombardi but Mack should have stepped down after they lost to Bama and let the "HCIW" thing play out. these new hires are looking a little Hawkins staff-esque....lots of newfangled ideas that might not work so hot once the game starts against top competition.
