Rehire Mac!!!

that was a big ****ing win. mm knows it too.

that team we just beat on the road is a team that has ****ing given us fits. and they were clearly stronger and more athletic upfront. we stole that game on ****ing guts and will and heart.

GO BUFFS

5-1 vs CSU
1-0 vs Nebraska

17-11 from 2016-current after rebuilding this dumpster fire of a program. Some of you need to cut the crap and realize what's going on.
He needs to go at least .500 in conference this season. I’m not a hater, but he’s been given plenty of breaks so he’s squarely on the fence in my opinion.

His loyalty to Adams will be tested thus year.
Adams has to get his OL performing better.

He's one of the most relatable and liked coaches on the staff, has had some big recruiting wins... but he has also had some bad OL performances and some questionable moves in recruiting. This is a very important year for him.

Lots of credit to Coach Chev for figuring out how to move the ball when you can't run the ball or protection your QB. Credit to Coach Eliot for finding a way to get stops when you can't stop the run or generate a pass rush. Adjustments were huge in this one. Our coordinators earned their game checks.

**** Mac he's absolute trash ... I hope he wins big and some other program picks this dip**** off

That is so refreshing to hear after the last 15 years. Even when Barnett had the team going well, adjustments really did not exist.

I didn't really think adjustments were really Mac1's strong suit, either.

I couldn't believe the change in the second half on offense and defense. Suddenly we could move the ball again, and we were making stops, too. Just great adjusting at the half.

Agreed. It may sound sacrilegious, however, McCartney really was not good at adjusting. This truly is interesting to see.

If he was, maybe we could have won in Lincoln in 1994 when we were the more talented team, but the Nub gameplan was to put it all on Kordell's shoulders, and he folded like a cheap tent.

The adjustments were mostly just getting players to settle down. A lot of the mistakes from the defense in the first half were due to over pursuit and some bad arm tackling. They played smarter positionally in the second half.

Just hope that MM decides to stick around and enjoy some prolonged success, instead of bolting after a year or two of it. After turning a couple programs around, I'd want to enjoy the fruits of labors and start kicking everyone's ass recruiting and winning, instead of trying to get everyone to believe again at some other down and out program.

I think they challenged the lines to up their physicality and they responded. N was big and physical but I don’t think they were so much more physical than us to explain the first half. We haven’t seen anyone so physical since the bowl game w OSU I’m thinking...surprised them IMO.
