Oh yeah, incentives would make it well into the $3 million range, I was thinking majority of the base is $2.1 - $2.6
Cristobal and the Ducks agreed to a five-year contract with a base salary of $2.5 million each season.
Cristobal will also earn $250,000 by playing in the College Football National Championship Game, $200,000 for the CFP Semi-Finals, $175,000 for a CFP Bowl outside of the Semi-Finals, and then $100,000 for any other bowl game when the Ducks have at least seven wins.
Other performances and academic incentives in Cristobal's contract include:
- $500,000 for winning the CFP National Championship
- $150,000 for winning the Pac-12 Championship
- $100,000 for winning the Pac-12 North Division
- $100,000 for nine regular season wins
- $100,000 for ten regular season wins
- $200,000 for 11 regular season wins
- $250,000 for 12 regular season wins
- $100,000 for an APR academic grade of 985 or greater
- $25,000 for the Pac-12 Conference Coach of the Year award
- $50,000 for the AP or Walter Camp National Coach of the Year Award
